Macmillan Support

Cancer can leave you facing many challenges, from coping with your cancer diagnosis, to finding the help you need or even planning a holiday after a diagnosis.  At the local Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre, you’ll find a team of experts and trained volunteers on hand to answer your questions. They aim to give you a ‘time away’ from the cancer clinic, where you can find a listening ear and information on everything from local support groups to help for the financial problems cancer may create.

There is now a macmillan support worker who comes in to the surgery on the first Wednesday of the month. For information on times and appointments to see them please contact the surgery.
